Critique was developed so that authors
would have the opportunity to receive a detailed critique and overall
assessment of their book from multiple points of view. Authors get far more
than a simple review as you will see in the 7 points covered below.

You can expect courteous and prompt service
with the utmost
consideration. You will be notified (via email) when your book is
received and when you can expect it to be critiqued. Upon completion,
you will receive a follow-up email.
Here are the 7 points covered:

Detailed, critique of book from cover
to cover, (first look, shelf appeal, quality)

Critique of cover design, (specifics
on graphics, type, wording, title)

Critique of back cover, (wording,
graphics, placement)

Readability (does the story flow?
too wordy? repetitious? timely dialogue?)

Storyline (good? needs work? hold
reader's interest? makes sense? flows?)

C's View (like it?
recommend it? good/bad points?)

Overall Critique (how book compares
to current market? comments for the author?)

Critique
consist of a highly detailed, honest account of your book without bias of
genre, author, or subject matter. I realize some authors are sensitive when
it comes to their work. However, my job is to review your book, not pet your
feelings which I'm sure you wouldn't have any other way. Having said that, I most sincerely ask that if you're not ready
for a no holds barred, honest and unbiased assessment of your book, please DO NOT submit it.
C's 7 Point Book
Critique
contain constructive criticism offered only to elevate and encourage
author's growth. As an author
striving to be the best at your craft, it's important that you be prepared
to hear both sides.
I look forward to critiquing your books!
Please send them to our headquarters at the address on the confirmation page
which you'll see after payment.
Please Note:
Books will be read in the order they are received. Books received without
payment will be set aside until payment is received, then added accordingly.
Books cannot be returned under any circumstances. CME Publishings is not
responsible for books lost in transit. Books that are not received will need
to be re-sent. Payments cannot be refunded under any circumstances. Authors
are discouraged from paying for critique unless they are certain they want
one.
Allow 3 days for
CME
Publishings to receive your book. If you have mailed your book, but have not received an email stating your book was received by the end of business on the 3rd day,
please contact me as book may have been lost in transit.
It is in the author's best
interest to send books via some type of tracking and/or confirmation method. |
